ETH to LTC is simple, but it isn't a casual send. ETH sends can't be reversed, and a wrong Litecoin address can leave no practical recovery route. Check the quoted LTC sum, rate type, and required ETH before sending. Keep enough ETH for the swap plus Ethereum gas.
My rule: use a wallet you control, read deposit instructions twice, and keep order details until Litecoin lands. A fixed quote suits a time sensitive trade. A floating quote may shift as ETH confirms. If the sum matters or the service is new, send a small test first.

Usually, yes. Only use another network if the swap instructions clearly name and accept it. Sending ETH through the wrong network can delay the swap or make recovery difficult.
With a floating rate, the final LTC amount may move while your ETH transaction waits for confirmation. A fixed quote may reduce that uncertainty, but you must meet its stated amount and timing conditions.
Use a normal Litecoin address from a wallet or exchange that supports LTC deposits. Copy it directly, check the first and last characters, and never substitute an address from another chain.
